Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

11/06/19

I adore Thanksgiving. Everything about It is just magical! We start our day by devouring plates of sausage balls and watching the parade. Shortly after we all (all 30 of us) sit down for a huge Thanksgiving lunch, my mouth is watering thinking about It! We basically nap the rest of the day before putting on our comfy clothes and going shopping that night. Sometimes if we really feel like making bad decisions we will do a 2am Waffle House visit. #noregrets

It’s kind of ironic that we get all dressed up on Thanksgiving…to go to someone’s house and wish we were in leggings three hours later. Alas, here I am trying to find the perfect dress that has the color palette of a plate of turkey and canned cranberry and the waistline of maternity jeans. I have dreams of an outfit that Blair wore in GG that was plaid and paired with tights and I will likely not rest until I have re-created that look! Until then, I’ve rounded up some first course outfit options that will be sure to camouflage you to your plate and not draw too much attention from your weird uncle, who always offers money to get you “some new jeans without holes in them”.

Coming next: Second Course outfits – AKA leggings and sweaters!

    Hi Anna,
I have a question for the Page Edit Podcast! How did you design your apartment before you moved in? I’m moving in 2 months and I am having trouble visualizing. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Haley! I used the website Canva to put everything together. If you are visual person like me, I think It will help you out a ton! You can save the product images from the site and put them all together on a blank canvas! It helped us be prepared come move-in day and allowed us to get everything set up really quickly.
