Do you remember the last time you felt extremely over-dressed at an event? Someone told you to dress “nice” for that friend of a friend’s birthday party, but when you arrived you realized your definition for “nice” may differ slightly from theirs? That’s how I felt two weeks ago at Starbucks in a turtle neck while the person next to me (Roger, according to the barista shouting out names) was sweating in a pair of shorts and a long sleeve tee.

At the time I was boycotting 80 degree weather in October, but now the temps have finally dropped in New York, and the days of feeling out of place in fleece, flannel, and wool are over. For anyone else ready for cooler temps (and thankful to no longer feel overdressed in our own lives), here are some of my favorite picks from Walmart’s fall collection!
