Our living room is finally (almost) finished! We are waiting on one more matching chair and then she will be done. Furniture deliveries are way backed up so many of the things we ordered back in October & November have just made their way to us! This room is truthfully what sold me on the apartment. The fireplace and hardwoods are over 100 years old and I had a very specific vision the minute I saw the place! It’s been really fun to finally see my NYC apartment dreams fulfilled, interiors-wise! There wasn’t any character in our last place so I was craving that in our new home. It has taken a long time but I think my interior style has finally evolved to where I want It to be! Here is the vision board I made back in August compared to the real thing:
I wanted to do a simple breakdown of everything in the room from decor to big furniture pieces! Note: the walls are painted ‘Whipped‘ and it’s the perfect warm white that is bright but not ivory!
Our couch is from Apt2B and is the Saxon Sofa in Snowfall! We had one of their couches in our last place and loved It so much that getting another was a no-brainer!
