SSENSE is currently having a massive markdown sale featuring some of our favorite designers! If you’re not familiar, SSENSE (pronounced es-uhns, not S-S-Sints) is an online shop with an editorial approach to luxury fashion and emerging designer brands. They focus heavily on the culture of design and fashion, and strive to create a community through their curation and content. We have been big fans of theirs for a long time, whether it be for their excellent taste in designers, limited sneaker drops, or the interesting content they create.

When you see platforms like SSENSE have a sale like this, it’s a reminder that this time of year is a great time to snap up higher-end items you may have been eyeing for awhile, or maybe find pieces you didn’t know you needed. It’s these transitional seasons when you weirdly tend to find those pieces that give you the urge to reflexively tell people how great of a deal you got when they compliment what you’re wearing. (Why is it that we all do that?)

They didn’t ask, but you can’t help but let them know! There are probably some sociological theories behind this behavior, but we here at The Page Edit believe the only thing better than nabbing a piece you’ve wanted for a long time is getting a great deal on it. When you get the piece for a price that feels a little too good to be true, it weirdly becomes part of the story and allure of owning it. You want to wear it more because it feels like you found it on your terms, or like you stumbled upon some sort of buried treasure by being at the right place at the right time. And that sort of feeling is exactly why we’re so excited to partner with SSENSE in sharing this sale!
