“Early Autumn” and I have, well, a complex situationship.

On one hand, I’m practically giddy for fall foliage and earth tones as I’m steeped in anticipation of chillier mornings, while — of course — finding myself elbows deep in fall fashion and home decor inspiration. My favorite brands are releasing cozy sweaters and snug outerwear while my homiest throw blankets are calling my name (not to mention our fireplace practically begging to get to work).

On the other hand? Temps have only just started to creep below 80, which means my sleeves are often rolled up past previously mentioned elbows as I attempt to escape the ever-lingering humidity.

We’re finally inching toward the “swing days” of fall, which means morning temps in the 50s, and afternoons in the 70s. This makes unleashing that fall fashion fervor far more feasible, but still a bit complex. This past week I got the chance to wear one of my favorite transitional outfits in awhile, so I wanted to share it along with the details for you below!
