One of the first Cardinal Sins of Renting we committed upon moving into our apartment (we committed several) was painting the walls non-neutral colors. It’s not a stretch to say we probably had a coat or two drying well before the last box was fully unpacked.
*For those wondering, our landlord was very laid back regarding cosmetic changes. After 6-7 calls within the first week to ask permission for various changes, they said, in so many words: “You’re good. Stop calling.”
While one day we will have to grapple with the process of painting things back to some mundane shade of beige-y white, we love having a space that feels like our own, inspires us, and creates an atmosphere we’re really excited to live in.
With that said, we wanted to share all of the paint colors in our apartment — broken down by room — so it would be easy for you to find!
Entryway – French Gray by Farrow & Ball (reads a beautiful sage green in our space)
Living Room – Whipped by Clare (the perfect not too cool & not too warm white)
Kitchen/Dining – Schoolhouse White by Farrow & Ball (a true creamy off white)
Bedroom – Light Blue by Farrow & Ball (everyone thinks this is green in photos but in person and different light it reads a beautiful blue!)
Nursery – Beverly by Farrow & Ball (the best moody dark green)
Office Nook – Current Mood by Clare (this is another dark green I love but it does lean a bit cooler than Beverly — also the color we used in the kitchen before)
